The Enrolled Agent credential carries federal authority. Doing the work well requires more than passing an exam – it requires judgment, financial clarity, ethical responsibility, and disciplined execution.
That’s why we created ApprentEA™ – the first registered apprenticeship for the EA profession.
ApprentEA™ is our two-year registered apprenticeship designed to develop Enrolled Agents within our firm through structured education, supervised casework, and progressive accountability.
ApprentEA™ is not a public placement program. It exists only at Taxley to ensure our Enrolled Agents meet the standards our work demands.

ExplorEA™
A six-week experience that introduces the real-world EA lane – the work, the responsibility, and what success actually requires.
STEP 2
Internship
For ExplorEA™ participants who want workplace exposure next. We offer internship opportunities based on firm capacity. Availability is not guaranteed.
STEP 3
ApprentEA™
When seats open, we often look first to candidates who’ve demonstrated professionalism, follow-through, and readiness through earlier steps.
